In my practice, I grapple with the strain to articulate. This strain is ever-present in my attempts to net the intangible, whether autonomy, language, or memory. Oftentimes, this strain feels painstakingly corporeal but remains out of physical touch as it is inside of me. For that reason, I am drawn to the acts of deconstructing in my practice. I do so in three-dimensional work such as sculpture and installation.
